  3. I’m concerned about COVID; what safety procedures are followed?

    1. COVID protocols are followed out of care and respect for our shoppers and our volunteers. Loaders wearing masks and gloves load food into the trunk of each car without coming within 6 feet of the driver.

    2. Volunteer loaders will load food into the trunk / hatch ONLY - not onto the seats of the car. Shoppers are not allowed to load food into their trunk / hatch.

  4. How do I qualify for food?

    1. Qualifications:  none – no ID or other qualification required at this time. We welcome all Shoppers.

  5. What food will I get?

    1. Pre-packed bags of food (standard, one size for all) - MAY contain: Meat, Canned Vegetables and/or Fruit, Canned Beans, Canned Soup or other Protein, Fresh fruits and vegetables, Snacks, Bread and Desserts, Rice.  Each shopping household receives a gallon of fresh milk. Specific foods distributed depend on availability.

    2. Mother’s Boxes are available on request for pregnant or nursing mothers [Baby Food and Toddler Snacks are NOT available.] We do not know when we will again be able to source items for special diets.

    3. Walkup shoppers receive a smaller amount of food than drivers, suitable to what can be carried in a backpack or bike bag.

  6. I am unable to drive - can I have someone shop for me?

    1. Yes! You are encouraged to make prior arrangements with someone who can pick up food for you if you are unable to come, and to make touchless delivery to you. A driver may pick up food for a maximum of 2 households.

  7. What if I need food more often?

    1. Other local sources may be found at communityfoodshare.org and longmontfoodrescue.org. The CFS Mobile Pantry at Westview operates on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month, starting at noon, while supplies last.

  8. I have a large family. Why can't I get two sets of food?

    1. In order to share food with the many households in need, we currently have a limit of one full set per household. See #7 above for additional sources of food.

  9. How many sets of food can I take?

    1. Each vehicle may receive one set of food for their own household, and one additional set for another household. We trust that if you take food for 2 households, that you will deliver the second set to someone else.

Shoppers who do not drive are encouraged to ask a neighbor, friend or family member, etc., to make the pick-up on their behalf.
